Afecta a 30 ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes en toda Espa\u00f1a. En C\u00e1diz hay dos ni\u00f1os afectados y este grupo de deportistas solidarios ha surgido del entorno de uno de ellos, Germ\u00e1n, de 14 a\u00f1os, que&nbsp;reside en Puerto Real.<\/p>\n<p>Como explica Manuel \u00c1ngel Cervi\u00f1o, portavoz del grupo de deportistas, \u201cdesde 2017 algunos de nosotros <strong>acompa\u00f1amos a Germ\u00e1n en maratones, carreras, salidas y hasta a tomar unas tapas<\/strong>. Empujamos su silla especial cuando participa en las competiciones, nos re\u00edmos con \u00e9l, cantamos, gritamos, disfrutamos de su compa\u00f1\u00eda, la de su familia\u2026 Tambi\u00e9n con sus compa\u00f1eros cuando vamos con el Equipo Zurich Aefat. Ya participamos con Germ\u00e1n en el Triatl\u00f3n Tit\u00e1n Sierra de C\u00e1diz en 2017 y fue una gran experiencia\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>La idea surgi\u00f3 al conocer las <strong>complicaciones para seguir la investigaci\u00f3n<\/strong> ante el Covid-19. \u201cEste a\u00f1o, con la pandemia, la asociaci\u00f3n que agrupa a los afectados en Espa\u00f1a, Aefat, ha visto cancelados muchos de sus eventos solidarios. Eso implica no poder seguir recaudando fondos para la investigaci\u00f3n que est\u00e1n financiando, que podr\u00eda dar con una terapia g\u00e9nica para los afectados\u201d, se\u00f1ala. \u201cQueremos aportar nuestro granito de arena\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>En su reto, que estar\u00e1 abierto en la plataforma de recaudaci\u00f3n de fondos <a href=\"https:\/\/www.migranodearena.org\/reto\/titan-sierra-de-cadiz-por-aefat\">Migranodearena<\/a> hasta el pr\u00f3ximo 4 de octubre, quieren llegar a los <strong>1.500<\/strong> <strong>euros<\/strong>. La recaudaci\u00f3n que consigan ir\u00e1 directamente a&nbsp;<strong>Aefat&nbsp;<\/strong>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aefat.es\/\">www.aefat.es<\/a>), la asociaci\u00f3n que agrupa a las familias, que est\u00e1 financiando un&nbsp;<strong>proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n en la Cl\u00ednica Universidad de Navarra \u2013 CIMA<\/strong>&nbsp;que cuesta 50.000 euros al a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>El grupo est\u00e1 formado por <strong>Manuel \u00c1ngel Cervi\u00f1o, Rosendo Rodr\u00edguez, Rub\u00e9n Rodr\u00edguez, Luisa Marcos, Evaristo Garc\u00eda, Francisco Rivero y Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Liboreiro<\/strong>, t\u00edo de Germ\u00e1n. Dos nadar\u00e1n 1900 m en el pantano de Zahara, dos recorrer\u00e1n en bici 90 km con un desnivel positivo acumulado de 1800 m y por \u00faltimo, dos recorrer\u00e1n un trail de monta\u00f1a de 21 km hasta llegar a la meta situada en la plaza del Rey de Zahara de la Sierra. \u201cJuntos, intentaremos que la ataxia telangiectasia suene, para que sea diagnosticada m\u00e1s f\u00e1cilmente, y contin\u00fae su investigaci\u00f3n. Queremos que haya esperanza para estas familias y que no se sientan solos en su lucha\u201d, comenta el deportista solidario.
